Mr. Guogen Qiu
Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer
MA in Economics, Renmin University of China. After a short stint from 1993 to 1995 at the investment management arm of former Jun An Securities, Mr. Qiu started his own professional investment in 1996, established Shanghai Chongyang Investment Co., Ltd in 2001 and Shanghai Chongyang Investment Management Co., Ltd in 2009. Currently, Mr. Qiu also serves as the Vice Chairman of Renmin University Education Foundation.
Mr. Qing Wang
Partner, Chairman & Chief Economist Ph.D. in economics, University of Maryland. Dr. Wang had held several important positions including Deputy Head of Investment Banking Department at China International Capital Corporation (CICC), Managing Director and Chief Economist for Greater China at Morgan Stanley, and Economist at IMF. Led by Dr. Wang, Morgan Stanley economics research team was ranked No.1 in Asia by Institutional Investor for two consecutive years in 2010 and 2011. Dr. Wang joined Chongyang Investment in early 2013.
Mr. Jinxi Tang
Partner, President & Chief Risk Officer MA in Economics, Renmin University of China. Mr. Tang joined the CSRC in 1997 and held various positions in Futures Supervision Department and Fund Supervision Department. Mr. Tang was officially appointed as the full-time Vice Chairman and Secretary General of AMAC between 2013 and 2015. Soon after joining Chongyang Investment in late 2015, Mr. Tang was elected as Vice Chairman of AMAC. Currently, Mr. Tang also serves as the Co-Chairman of Hedge Fund Council of AMAC and Vice Chairman of SAMA.
Mr. Xin Chen
Partner & Co-CIO MBA, University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Before joining in Chongyang Investment in 2009, Mr. Chen had served as a senior analyst covering fixed income, auto and banking sectors at several financial institutions including China International Capital Corporation (CICC), Morgan Stanley, and CLSA.
Mr. Jianqing He
Partner & Chief Research Officer MA in Economics, Renmin University of China. Mr. He has been covering several sectors including insurance, household appliance, retail, food and beverage and built up extensive corporate research experiences. Mr. He joined Chongyang Investment in 2006 upon completion of graduate school.
Mr. Zhiwei Kou
Partner & Head of Strategic Research MA in Economics, Peking University. Mr.Kou had served as an analyst in Southern fund management company. He has rich research experience in macro and strategic fields. Mr. Kou Joined Chongyang Investment in 2010.
